A sweet engagement session in a corn maze on Sauvie Island.

Barb and Dave will marry where they are originally from, in the midwest, next spring. They live here in Portland now, so we got together for their fun engagement session! We'd been trying to pick a perfect weather day for a beach session, but ended up getting overcome by rain and cold... SO! We decided to stay in town and to have some fun on Sauvie Island! Krueger Farm is a great place to visit. Not only do they have a wonderful, all natural and local veggie store (which we took advantage of that day, to restock our fridge!), they also have a great and fun corn maze that every year, at this time, is fully grown and perfect for fun farm photos! Here is a sneak peek of their session with us. It turned out to be a perfect day!

Storm clouds & love at this October vineyard wedding.

Meet Jessica and Stephen. The married yesterday (October 1st 2011) at Gorge Crest Winery, in Underwood WA. Usually, when we photograph here, the view is what we expect... Mt Hood and the valleys and hills in between, in all their glory. Not yesterday! Yesterday was a cloudy day, threatening to rain, dark and gloomy. As promised, however, MoscaPhoto's positive vibes made it so that the clouds became dramatic, intense, layered, colorful and intermingled with some blue sky here and there. That's right! The rains were falling all around us, yet, we never got wet. It was amazing. Even without Mt Hood in the distance, the views were powerful and the photos are here to prove it.
