MoscaPhoto Product : A beautiful cream-colored, full leather, Sequoia Wedding Album!

We're so proud of our printed products! It's the reason why we always include them in any of our packages. Photographs deserve to be printed, touched, passed around AND passed ON, from generation to generation. Whenever I find myself back in Rome, I always make it a point to look through my parents' wedding album from their wedding in the '70s and I LOVE IT! :)

This particular book, below, is a beautiful, real leather, cream colored, silver embossed, 4x6 image opening, 10x10 inch wedding album -- I know! Lots of words there ;) But I'm super descriptive, right? ;)

This is an exclusive line of albums that are only offered to photographers who have Pictage as a business partner; you won't find these books around the web as "consumer" products. These are Willow Book books and are made just for professionals. They are high quality, hand made, and always stunning. We are never disappointed and just wait 'till you see the new line they will soon be offering us! At the beginning of November, we were at a photography conference in San Diego where we had the pleasure of being a part of a panel of photographers who's input was used to better this new line and we are SO excited for them to come out!

The design within the book is meticulously made by me, Alice, while the images were chosen by our couple, Heidi & Marty. This is actually THEIR personal book! We just received it in the mail and wanted to take these images of it for you all to see. Heidi & Marty chose the image on the cover and the leather color too. They did a great job with their choices! This book is truly stunning and I can't wait to hear from them once they receive it in a few days ;)

Here is a breakdown of their cost. Think of this as an investment! As I have said before, photographs are meant to be enjoyed and loved for years to come, and there is no better what to do this than by having them printed... either loosely as regular 'ol prints, or within a gorgeous archival book like this one. Also as mentioned above, many of our packages come with a book like this. And if your package doesn't, it can certainly be added on as a bonus product!

Wedding day on the Oregon coast.

Grace & Neal are married! The day was yesterday, Saturday April 30th 2011. The day after the famous Royal Wedding. Grace (along with her friends and family) thought of her own day as a royal one. Why? Because her married name will be: Grace Kelly! ;)

Westminster Abbey or not, Grace & Neal's wedding day was perfect. Small enough to allow for every single guest to have great contact with the bride and groom, yet large enough to have it be a true party. The Oregon Coast was perfect too. Sunny and warm, bright and practically deserted. From the beaches of Gearhart, everyone followed Grace & Neal up the street, all the way to McMenamin's Sandtrap, for the reception.

Having gotten to know them during their engagement session (red balloons and hollow picture frames in Portland) we knew they would be fun to see and play with again. Sure enough! Right before sunset, the four of us went back to the beach to take more romantic, fun and artful photographs of the two of them, away from the crowd. We had a blast and love the resulting images. We are so excited to show them! :)

One of the highlights of the day was to see our previous bride (and Grace's maid of honor) Katie, who got married at McMenamin's Edgefield this past September 2010. We love keeping our shoots in the family and love that ours keeps growing! YAY!

A beautiful Oregon beach wedding preview!

Just a quick single image to prepare for the much more detailed blog post coming up! This is one of the images we took yesterday (April 30th 2011), on the Oregon Coast, in Gearhart, at sunset, with Grace & Neal. A perfect day with a beautiful couple! <3 More to come ;)

An intimate World Forestry Center wedding in spring.

This must be a record blog post / sneak peek for us... Wendi & Danny's wedding was this morning! At the beautiful and historic World Forestry Center, near the Oregon Zoo, here in Portland. The day turned out to be on the warm side, with some fluffy clouds and a bit of sunshine as well. A perfect spring day for the Pacific Northwest with trees in bloom too!

We started at 9AM and ended around 3:30PM. In all of that time, we covered the entire wedding, from preparations to the goodbyes. What we were excited about the most, was how much time we had to spend, one on one, with Wendi & Danny! We walked to the Veteran's Memorial and then back down to the Peggy (the locomotive) and all around inside of the museum itself. This blog post is a collection of [mainly] Wendi & Danny artful/classy/fun photos ;)

One thing you might want to notice in detail is a photo of the two of them with their moms and dads... from WAY UP ABOVE! That, friends, is part of what MoscaPhoto is all about ;) We go the extra mile and LOVE to do it. Josh took a ride up the firefighters' harness seat, from the first floor of the museum, all the way to the ceiling. that's close to 100 feet up, harnessed in with feet dangling and camera gear in hand. It was SO worth it! Looking down on the smiling faces and taking the photo, was priceless :)

All of the little frames and papers and cake cutters and flowers, were hand made by Wendi and her family. She kept the process of coming up with wedding decor to a crafty self. The gifts that they gave their family members were framed images of them at the Ice Cave engagement session we photographed last January. Lots of personal touches and such a cozy small wedding too! The last photo is the WHOLE GROUP! 38 wonderful people who made Josh and I feel as if we were a part of the family.
