With our super busy 2010 wedding season fast approaching, Josh and I wanted to be sure to remind all of you summer 2009 couples, how much you meant to us back then, and how wonderful it is to still keep in touch today. 

Every year that goes by, we meet new wonderful couples. Every year, we are honored to have been chosen to see their passage from one state of being to a new one: being a husband and wife. Our profession allows us to immortalize this important life transition and as individuals, we get the opportunity to witness the public celebration of love that is a wedding. 

There is nothing in this world we would rather be doing, other than this very thing. 

To all of our gorgeous couples of 2009, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day and thank you to those of you who have allowed us to consistently grow to know you as friends, even after all this time. We love to keep in touch with you on a personal level, as we do on facebook, and by grabbing dinner or watching a live show every once and a while... you know who you are ;)

You are what keeps us going; what keeps us inspired; what keeps us wanting to come back for more, year after year; and the reason why we have been in business and ecstatic about it, for over 6 years! 

So, again, thank you for making our 2009 season yet another successful and inspiring one. I have put together a little collage of all of our 2009 couples here... looking through all of the photos to search for the ones here, put a nostalgic tear in my eye :)

I'm bringing back one of our favorite weddings of 2009. Dayna and Ben's!

I went to high school with Dayna, back in 1995, in Sedona (AZ), at a fantastic little private school called Verde Valley School. We reconnected on Facebook and I was glad.

Then... she asked Josh and I to fly to her wedding in Minnesota and WOW!!! I was moved!!!

It was an unbelievably busy and long weekend this one, but boy did we do it right! We took a red-eye from Portland to Minneapolis. Then drove 3 hours north to a little town called Motley. We met up with Dayna and Ben at noon, and that was the start of the wedding day! Aaaaall the way to 10 pm!

Yes, a long day... but seeing my old friend marry her high school sweetheart and getting to meet all of her family and closest friends, was a huge highlight for us. We met new wonderful people and will not let 15 years go by without meeting up again somewhere in the United States! :-)
