Josh and I are honored to have been chosen as one of Champagne NW Wedding and Event Coordination's preferred vendors!

Mandi and Rachelle have a cool project happening right now. They are featuring 30 vendors in 30 days! Anyone from florists to venues to photographers and more!

Yesterday, January 12th 2010, was their 6th day... and WE were featured!

Mandi posted some of our photos of Lacey & Jonathan and Amber & Ben's engagement sessions, along with a brief interview with us. Both of these awesome couples have us as their wedding photographers AND Champagne NW as their day-of coordinator!

We truly have the best couples and the best group of wedding vendor friends, EVER!! :-)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! :)

This is definitely NOT wedding related!

I do, however, have a passion for anything kitchen related... and wanted to share a delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe, with photos, here for all to enjoy :-)

I was cleaning up our cupboards when i ran into LOTS of ingredients for desert making. I thought I would bake something special and complicated and delicious for Josh, but ended up making very simple cookies instead... which turned out amazing!

Here is the recipe:

1 up softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2.5 cups flour
12 ounces of chocolate chips (dark, milk, white, anything works!)

Oven temperature: 375 degrees
Beat butter on medium for 30 seconds.
Add the sugars and baking soda.
Combine well.
Add egg and vanilla.
Combine well.
Gradually add flour.
Combine well.
Hand stir chocolate chips.
Bake for 8-10 minutes on cookie sheet.
YUM!!
