{Wedding!} A cool and rainy day, offset by a warm and loving Karen & James...

Welcome to Oregon! :)

Karen & James' family and friends came from NY to witness their wedding day.
What a welcome they received here in the Pacific Northwest!

This was a cool and rainy day, overcast sky and umbrellas at hand. Spirits were high, however, because everyone was there to witness and celebrate Karen & James' wedding day. After 10 years of being together, they tied the knot! And once again, Josh and I were there to document the whole thing!

Here is our blog post of their super fun engagement session at Trillium Lake, at the base of Mt Hood, from a few months ago, with their doggie Rex!

And here is a Sneak Peek set of images from this past Saturday... Gorgeous bride, a great group of people who we had a blast with, all day long!

Enjoy your New York reception and see you when you get back!! :)

{Wedding!} A wedding at the exclusive Garden Vineyards in Portland, OR. ~ Natalie & Carl 9.12.10

Here is yet another day that could not have possibly been any more perfect.

We arrived at the exclusive Garden Vineyards at 1pm and didn't leave till we were ready to go to the posh Hotel Monaco, in downtown Portland, for some fun bride and groom photos, at 11pm. All this time, Josh and I were oooh-ing and aaah-ing about the gorgeous location, the beautiful bride, the passion between the bride and groom, the perfect weather and the fantastic group of vendors who worked seamlessly together. WOW!

We feel privileged to have been invited to photograph a wedding at Garden Vineyards. It is a very close-nit place, with exclusivity and control over who gets the opportunity to work there. We were chosen by Natalie & Carl as their wedding photographers and are ecstatic to have finally (after 6 years in business in this area) been able to crack that closed nut!

Thank you:
Melinda and Stewart for being so accommodating in your home (Garden Vineyards).
Art of Catering for your delicious food.
Kymm Ernst for your spot-on make up for Natalie.
Kim (of Geranium Lake Flowers) for your beautiful floral designs and super helpful coordination.
Aaron (of Maushole Productions) for your funky-hip hop-ultra dance mixes.
Toshi for your crisp, melodic, perfect guitar (Toshi Onizuka).

And most of all... thank you Natalie & Carl, for one amazing day! Your love and devotion for one another was clear from the moment we met you. We are honored to have been there for and with you on your day and can't wait for our next sessions! Those eleven hours wen by too quickly!

Have fun in Costa Rica! :)
