MarryMe! wedding show was a huge success!

Misty and Greg of Luxe Event Productions put together yet another uber-successful wedding show. They are so organized and well respected in this industry and we are so happy to be a part of their vision. They invited us to be their sponsor photographers and we loved the assignment. Josh and I spent 4 hours walking around the wedding show, taking photos of the couples visiting, interacting with the vendors as well, and details of the maaaaany cakes and the rest! Truly a great show.

A quick bridal portrait.

What a beautiful bride! Josh was assisting as one of the shooters for Jos Photographers at this wedding, back in June of 2011. Needless to say, it was a long wedding day with multiple locations and amazing people. When it came time for them to do some bridal portraiture, this is one of the images that Josh took. Umbrellas! Always fun to bring props on shoots, even on a wedding!

Early 2012 Portrait Sessions / Engagement Session Special Offer!

Hi friends! It's almost Valentine's Day and we here at MoscaPhoto, wanted to offer you some great savings on our portrait/couple/engagement session package! It's a great way to get you two to be the center of attention, to be like models in from on our cameras, to explore areas of Portland and to have some quality time with one another. We'll be there to capture it all. 

Time flies, life is short (I've learned this the hard way!) so the least I can do is be sure that more of you can afford beautiful, quality professional photography. We are in our slow time of year now, so we are able to schedule many more portraits than usual! Lets talk about where and when you'd like to do this and let's do it! :)

Here are the details:

• - This shoot at this special price expires on 2.20.12
• - Book us by 2.20.12 with a check for $100 (this retainer is non-refundable and it has to be sent in with a contract which I will email you when you email me Alice@MoscaPhoto.com)
• - The rest ($75) is due the day of the shoot itself
• - The shoot can happen anytime between when you book us and the end of May 2012 (to allow for the best weather possible)
• - The shoot is to happen within Portland proper (locations outside of Portland are totally welcome! We love to explore new places! But there will be a slight travel charge for gas and time. Ask us about it with your desired location and we can go from there!)
• - You are to receive both Josh and I as your photographers, one hour of photography, your own online gallery with the images in it, and the possibility for you to share the gallery with friends and to order products on your own (like enlargements, canvas prints, calendars, books, etc...)

Cathedral Park Engagement Session in Portland Oregon.

Meet Jessica & Joe. We had met Jessica during our initial consultation over coffee, but it was our first time meeting her fiance Joe... and we hit it off immediately! Fun, funny, loving couples are what Josh and I need to keep ourselves inspired and to keep our spirits and positiveness high. This day was beautiful and they were so great to let us take them all around our favorite spots in Cathedral Park. The bridge, the river, the paths... and even the weather! Everything was perfect. We are really looking forward to their April 2012 wedding at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse and excited to show you their sneak peek here!

Inspiration post for newly engaged couples! The flower arrangements we had the pleasure of photographing in 2011.

We make a post like this one every year, at the end of the year. We love to photograph every aspect of a wedding day, including the details that make each event as unique as you are! Flower arrangements are part of the colorful decor that a couple take time in choosing... we realize how personal each flower decision is, so we love to share our past couples' ideas with you in hopes to help you choose your own ;)

We have had the pleasure of working alongside several talented florists who have nothing but satisfied and inspired our couples and us. We have also had some brides take the wedding flowers one step further by picking their own flowers and arranging them themselves! Regardless, each and every arrangement we have had the pleasure of photographing was beautiful.
