The Edgefield wedding of Sarah & Mike.

Mcmenamim's Edgefield is always super quirky and full of fun locations for photos. Sarah & Mike married there on Saturday August 20th and the party was fun! The local Portland band The Quick and Easy Boys were their reception's entertainment making the celebration even more high energy (Jimmy, the guitar, was Mike's best man). Here are a handful of images from that day with many more to come! It's a quick and easy blog post - get it? hehe :) - while we prepare many more to show... from the reception/party time!! :)

Timberline Lodge & Trillium Lake engagement session.

Having a few days off from wedding shooting and editing has helped to get us refreshed and ready for the second half our our wedding season! We're right back at work and ready to show some new photo-goodness. This is a super quick sneak peek of Kate & Andrew's engagement session at Timberline Lodge and then at Trillium Lake. Both at the base of Mt Hood and right around sunset... gorgeous light and a super fun couple too! Love it :) Their wedding will be next September 2012 at the beautiful Mt Hood Organic Farms, south of Hood River. We can't wait!!

Birdcage veil, suspenders and a beautiful summer day at Gorge Crest Vineyards.

Another absolutely awesome wedding day. WOW! Lea and Clark are super cute and super fun. We got to know each other on their engagement session near sunset, on a gorgeous sunny winter day, in Cannon Beach a few months ago (here it is). Ever since then, we've gotten to know each other even more via facebook and emails and... BAM! Their wedding came and went. Time FLIES!

LOTS of details in this wedding! And everything was made by hand by Lea herself! A truly DIY bride. She made her birdcage veil, the feathery hair piece (which was her grandmother's brooch), the invitations, the table place cards, the ring pillow, bow ties... everything! Amazing! Clark is super creative too. He broke out his twelve-string guitar in the middle of the reception and played an elaborate and beautiful song for all to enjoy. I even recorded it on video! :) The song was "Oceans" and it's from John Butler Trio. Beautiful!

OK OK! i better start posting some photos! Here is a list of the wonderful vendors involved and a handful of images as a sneak peek of the 10 hour wedding day. Can't wait to edit them all! So many great memories :)
